Zusammenfassung:	A cooling device (1) provided with: a cooling circuit (100) which includes three flow passageways converging at an interchange point and in which cooling fluid is circulated; a three-way valve (8) which is disposed at the interchange point and which can be switched so as to allow two of the three flow passageways to communicate with each other; and a control unit (9) which controls the switching of the three-way valve (8), wherein the control unit (9) is provided with an intermediate seizure determination means which, if a cooling fluid temperature difference between one of the two flow passageways controlled to communicate with each other and the remaining flow passageway is smaller than a predetermined value, determines that the three-way valve (8) is in an intermediate seized state in which the three flow passageways are simultaneously in communication with one another.
