L'invention concerne une extrémité de bielle destinée à une bielle longitudinale, en particulier pour véhicules utilitaires, comprenant un corps de base qui forme un volume de travail d'un système à ressort pneumatique. Le corps de base comporte une zone d'accès qui est conçue pour fournir un accès au volume de travail. L'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'une grande partie du volume de travail est formée sensiblement au-dessous de la zone d'accès.
