La présente invention concerne un carbonate de calcium naturel hydrophobe et/ou un carbonate de calcium précipité hydrophobe dans lequel entre 10 % et 19 % de la zone déterminée du carbonate de calcium naturel et/ou du carbonate de calcium précipité sont recouverts dun revêtement composé dun acide carboxylique aliphatique possédant entre 5 et 24 atomes de carbone et des produits de réaction correspondants.
