BATTERY HOUSING

A battery housing for a vehicle driven by an electric motor comprises a tray part 1 including a bottom 2 and side walls 3, 4 integrally formed thereon and furthermore comprises a frame structure surrounding the tray part 1 on the outside, wherein a gap remains between the side walls 3, 4 and the frame structure disposed on the outside thereof. At least two side walls 3, 4 of the tray part 1 located opposite one another with respect to the tray volume each have at least one embossment 9, which is designed to point away from the tray volume and is supported on the frame structure. A brace 7, 8 disposed in the tray part 1 is supported with the end-face end thereof in the mutually opposing embossments 9. Au moins deux parois latérales (3, 4) du bac (1) opposées l'une à l'autre par rapport au volume du bac présentent chacune au moins un estampage (9) s'étendant dans le sens opposé au volume du bac et s'appuyant sur la structure de cadre. Une entretoise (7, 8) disposée dans le bac (1) s'appuie par ses extrémités frontales dans les estampages (9) opposés.
