METHOD OF DETERMINING CONDITIONS FOR ACCOMMODATING RADIOACTIVE WASTE IN CONTAINER, RADIOACTIVE WASTE ACCOMMODATING METHOD, AND WASTE BODY PRODUCED USING SAID METHOD

This method of determining the conditions for accommodating a plurality of waste pieces, obtained by at least cutting radioactive waste, in one or more storage containers in order to obtain one or more waste bodies by accommodating the waste pieces in the one or more storage containers is characterized by being provided with: a step in which, for each of a plurality of arrangement condition candidates prescribing the storage container in which each waste piece is to be stored and the storage position of each waste piece in each storage container, one or more arrangement condition candidates that satisfy constraining conditions required of the waste body for each storage container is selected on the assumption that the waste pieces are arranged in the one or more storage containers in accordance with the arrangement condition candidates; a step of calculating a required number of storage containers, which is the number of storage containers required to accommodate the plurality of waste pieces in accordance with each of the one or more selected arrangement condition candidates; and a step of identifying the arrangement condition candidate having the smallest required number of storage containers.
