DISPENSING CONTAINER

The present invention enables a first sheet to be easily pulled out and can prevent sheets from coming out together in a continuous manner when the second or subsequent sheet is pulled out. A dispensing container (10) maintains a sealed state and is provided with: a container body (11) that has a vertical direction (front-back direction) (C) and a horizontal direction (B), which intersect each other, and has, in an upper surface thereof, a dispensing opening (24) that is for allowing sheets (wet tissues) (9) contained therein to be pulled out; and an upper lid (12) that is attached to the upper surface of the container body (11) via a hinge (hinge part) (38). The dispensing opening (24) includes: a first hole section (24a) that is located on the hinge part (38) side; and a second hole section (24b) that is continuous from the first hole section (24a) and extends toward the side opposite the hinge part (38) in the horizontal direction (B), and that is for allowing the sheets (wet tissues) (9) to pass therethrough. A dimension (e3) of the first hole section (24a) in a horizontal direction (X) is larger than a dimension (e4) of the second hole section (24b) in the horizontal direction (X).
