MODULE CARRIER ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to a module support assembly (2) for a motor vehicle for positioning between the A-pillars of the vehicle body comprising a crossmember (1), which extends between the A-pillars and is designed as a hollow-body profiled element, and at least one steering column holder (7), which is connected to the crossmember (1) and is supported on the outside of the crossmember (1) in the x direction. The at least one steering column holder (7) is designed as an angle piece and is supported on a first outer wall of the crossmember (1) by means of a supporting surface (11) provided by a first leg (15). The steering column holder (7) has a further leg (13), the top side of which extends under the crossmember (1). In addition, the steering column holder (7) bears a supporting extension (17) on the side of the steering column holder supported on the outside (12) of the crossmember (1), which supporting extension extends through the outer wall of the crossmember (1) adjoining the supporting surface (11) of the steering column holder (7) and at least to the opposite wall of the crossmember (1) and is connected to said opposite wall of the crossmember in a vibrationally coupled manner.
