Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to the use of one or more fatty acid esters, particularly 3-methylbutyl dodecanoate, or a mixture of fatty acid esters as insecticide and/or arachnicide and moreover relates to insecticide and/or arachnicide compositions containing same. The invention also relates to a method for controlling insects and/or arachnids. La présente invention se rapporte à l'utilisation d'ester(s) d'acide(s) gras de formule (l) : (see formula I) dans laquelle : - R1 est une chaîne alkyle comportant 7 à 13 atomes de carbone, et dans laquelle : - q = p = 0 et n est un entier compris entre 1 et 5, ou - p=n=1 et q=3, en particulier du dodécanoate de 3-méthylbutyle, ou d'un mélange d'esters d'acides gras de formule (l), comme insecticide, et à des compositions insecticides les comportant. Elle vise également un procédé de lutte contre les insectes.
