Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a method for digitally signing a file (D) that contains hierarchically structured data objects, said method comprising the steps of: generating (S1) at least one signature data object (sig) at the file level; calculating (S2) a digital signature for data from the file (D); and writing (S3) the calculated digital signature into the generated signature data object (sig).
