The invention relates, in particular, to the labyrinth seal (7) for sealing the housing of a three-phase machine against a shaft (1) that can rotate in relation to the housing (3). According to the invention, at least one side of the labyrinth seal (7) has an insulating coating (6) at least in the region of the labyrinth contours (8).
