Zusammenfassung:ABSTRACT A method of analyzing one or more properties of an aliquot of water comprises the following steps. A package comprises a body having a first compartment comprising a first substance, a second compartment comprising a second substance, and a breakable seal that separates the first and second compartments. The breakable seal of the package is broken via physical force, thereby providing for the formation of a mixture comprising the first and second substances. The mixture is added to an aliquot of water. The one or more properties of the aliquot of water are analyzed. The first substance comprises a liquid and the second substance comprises a magnesium coordinating fluorescing reagent for water analysis.
