The individually pocketed coil spring (2) comprises: a coil spring (4) having an upper end (41) and a lower end (42); a casing (31) forming a pocket enclosing said coil spring (2); and a cushioning pad (5) located above said upper end (41) of the coil spring (2). The casing (31) hereby provides a first compartment (21) enclosing the coil spring (4), and a second compartment (22) enclosing the cushioning pad (5), wherein the first and second compartments (21, 22) are separated from each other. L'invention concerne un ressort hélicoïdal ensaché individuellement (2) destiné à être utilisé dans un article de literie ou un article de type siège, ainsi que des matelas à ressorts ensachés (1) comprenant de tels ressorts hélicoïdaux ensachés (2).
