La présente invention concerne des compositions vétérinaires et des méthodes de traitement et/ou de prévention de la mammite chez des mammifères non humains. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne le traitement de la mammite chez les vaches. La composition vétérinaire comprend un polymère polyamide fonctionnel amine antimicrobien, hydrosoluble, à action locale.
