AIMING DEVICE WITH CAM LOCK

An aiming device includes a body extending longitudinally from a first end to a second end and including a first body opening extending laterally therethrough along a first axis, the first body opening being sized and shaped to receive a device therein, the first end of the body including a coupling for coupling the body to an implantable device in an aiming configuration in which the first body opening is aligned with a corresponding first implant opening extending through the implantable device so that a device inserted through the first body opening in the body will pass along an axis of the first implant opening and a lock releasably coupled to the body and movable relative thereto between an unlocked and a locked configuration, the lock including an engaging portion extending into the first body opening in the locked configuration to engage an outer surface of a device received therein to lock the device in a desired position within the first body opening. La présente invention se rapporte un dispositif de pointage qui comprend un corps qui s'étend longitudinalement depuis une première extrémité jusqu'à une seconde extrémité et qui comprend une première ouverture de corps s'étendant latéralement à travers ce dernier le long d'un premier axe, la première ouverture de corps étant dimensionnée et formée pour recevoir un dispositif à l'intérieur de cette dernière, la première extrémité du corps comprenant un accouplement destiné à accoupler le corps à un dispositif implantable selon une configuration de pointage dans laquelle la première ouverture de corps est alignée avec une première ouverture d'implant correspondante qui s'étend à travers le dispositif implantable de telle sorte qu'un dispositif inséré à travers la première ouverture de corps dans le corps passera le long d'un axe de la première ouverture d'implant et un verrou accouplé de manière amovible au corps et qui est mobile par rapport à ce dernier entre une configuration déverrouillée et une configuration verrouillée, le verrou comprenant une partie de mise en prise qui s'étend dans la première ouverture de corps dans la configuration verrouillée pour venir en prise avec une surface externe d'un dispositif reçu à l'intérieur de cette dernière pour verrouiller le dispositif dans une position souhaitée dans la première ouverture de corps.
