Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an electrode unit for an electrochemical device for storing electrical energy, comprising a solid electrolyte (3) and a porous electrode (7), wherein the solid electrolyte (3) separates a chamber for cathode material and a chamber for anode material and the porous electrode (7) is connected to the solid electrolyte (3) in a planar manner and the cathode material flows along the porous electrode (7) when being discharged. The porous electrode (7) is covered on the side facing away from the solid electrolyte (3) to the chamber for the cathode material by a segment wall (9), wherein the segment wall (9) has inlet openings (15) in the flow direction of the cathode material, through which the cathode material penetrates into the porous electrode (7), reacts chemically in the porous electrode (7) with the anode material and emerges out of the porous electrode (7) again through outlet openings (17) that are downstream in the flow direction.
