Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a device for the filtration, drying and storing of solid substances of a suspension (FDS unit) and to a method carried out in this installation for the downstream processing of a solid-substance suspension, in particular of crystallizable therapeutic proteins or active substances. The FDS unit, designed for use as a disposable system, is a device with which active-substance crystals can be filtered, dried, stored and reconstituted in a non-degrading and reliable way in a closed process, i.e. without interim opening or decanting.
