GLYCEROPHOSPHOLIPIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS

The present document relates to a method of improving a condition in a subject suffering from a cognitive disease or disorder which comprises administering to the subject an effective amount of a preparation comprising a non-mammalian derived mixture of serine glycerophospholipid conjugates, where the mixture comprises (a) linoleic acid (c18:2) conjugated to phosphatidylserine (PS), (b) docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) conjugated to PS, and (f) eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) conjugated to PS, in which mixture the w/w% of (a) / the w/w% of (b) is from about 0.09 to about 3.6 and the w/w% of (a) / w/w% of (f) is from about 0.23 to about 9.4. La présente invention a trait à une méthode visant à améliorer létat dun sujet souffrant dune maladie ou dun trouble cognitif qui comprend ladministration au sujet dune quantité efficace dune préparation comprenant un mélange fait de conjugués de glycérophospholipides sériniques tirés dorganismes non mammaliens, le mélange comprenant (a) de lacide linoléique (c18:2) conjugué à de la phosphatidylsérine (PS), (b) de lacide docosahexaénoïque (DHA) conjugué à de la PS et (f) de lacide eicosapentaénoïque (EPA) conjugué à de la PS, dans lequel le pourcentage en poids de (a)/ pourcentage en poids de (b) est denviron 0,09 à environ 3,6 et le pourcentage en poids de (a)/pourcentage en poids de (f) est denviron 0,23 à environ 9,4.
