METHODS FOR INTELLIGENT NETWORK SELECTION

A method for intelligent network selection includes collecting, by a subscriber unit or an infrastructure device network state condition information for a plurality of networks when the subscriber unit is currently attached to a first access network. Upon detection of a trigger, the subscriber unit or the infrastructure device selects a second access network using the network station condition information. The subscriber unit detaches from the first access network and attaches to the second access network. L'invention concerne un procédé de sélection de réseau intelligent consistant à collecter, au moyen d'une unité d'abonné ou d'un dispositif d'infrastructure, des informations de condition d'état de réseau pour une pluralité de réseaux lorsque l'unité d'abonné est présentement rattachée à un premier réseau d'accès. Lors de la détection d'un déclenchement, l'unité d'abonné ou le dispositif d'infrastructure sélectionne un second réseau d'accès au moyen des informations de condition d'état de réseau. L'unité d'abonné se détache du premier réseau d'accès et se rattache au second réseau d'accès.
