Zusammenfassung:[Problem] To obtain a welding joint that has superior fatigue strength that can suppress fatigue cracks in the horizontal direction in the column part and bending fatigue cracks starting from the foot part in rail welding parts. [Solution] In a reheating method for rail weld parts after rail welding, the distance (C) between a reheating area (P) for the rail column part (2) and the weld center (Q) is set to 0.2 - 3 times the weld part HAZ length (Lh). The length (B) of the reheating area (P) can be 0.5 - 5 times the weld part HAZ length (Lh). The height (A) of the reheating area (P) can be 0.2 or more times the height of the rail column part (2). The temperature (Th) achieved in reheating at the center of the reheating area (P) can be 400 - 750°C and, furthermore, in relation to the initial temperature (Tw) (°C) of the weld part during reheating, can satisfy 0.375Tw + 350 = Th = 0.5Tw + 600.
