Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a wind turbine facility configured so that the wind turbine facility is not damaged by sea water when installed offshore and so that, even if the size of the facility increases, equipment and a generator mounted within the tower are cooled sufficiently to prevent a reduction in the efficiency of power generation. The present wind turbine facility is provided with: a rotor composed of a hub and blades; a generator connected to the rotor through a main shaft connected to the hub; a nacelle at least housing the generator and rotatably supporting the rotor through the main shaft; and a tower which supports at the top thereof the nacelle and which is affixed, at the side thereof which is opposite the top thereof, to the foundation. The wind turbine facility is characterized in that a heat exchanger is provided at the portion of the tower which is near the foundation, a cooling medium is caused to flow through the heat exchanger through piping, and the cooling medium and air which is within the tower exchange heat to cool the air within the tower.
