MASS POSITIONING ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR A SEISMIC SENSOR

A mass position adjustment apparatus for use in a seismic sensor having axis mechanics including a pivotable boom with a defined null point is described. The apparatus comprising: a flexure joint having a first leaf hinge; and adjustment means for positioning the boom at the null point, the adjustment means having a tensioner arm pivotably mountable to the axis mechanics by the flexure joint, the first leaf hinge being oriented in a plane at a significant angle with respect to the tensioner arm. Un mécanisme de réglage de position de masse utilisé dans un capteur sismique comportant des mécanismes axiaux comprenant un bras pivotable ayant un point nul défini est décrit. Le mécanisme comprend un joint de flexure ayant une première charnière à battant et des mécanismes d'ajustement servant à positionner le bras au point nul, les mécanismes d'ajustement comportant un bras de tensionneur pouvant être installé par pivotement aux mécanismes axiaux par le joint de flexure, la première charnière à battant étant orientée dans un plan à un angle significatif relativement au bras du tensionneur.
