Zusammenfassung:	Contact pressure device for flat articles at a revolving transport belt, in particular letters in a franking and/or addressing machine. The purpose is an increase of the usage area and the throughput. Flat articles of different thicknesses - as a whole or partially - can be processed as one piece at predetermined speed in arbitrary close order, without slippage. According to an embodiment, an elastic, bellows-shaped, resiliently borne air bag with its low-friction, wear-resistant cover surface can be non-positively connected with the transport belt and be executed as a mobile contact pressure module with its associated retention and air supply devices.
