MANAGING TWO OR MORE DISPLAYS ON A DEVICE WITH CAMERA
What is disclosed is a novel device and method to manage displays (106, 206) in a device (100) with a camera (112, 212). In one example, a first display (106) is on a first side (104) of the wireless device and a second display (206) along with a camera (212) is on the second side (204) of the devic...

Zusammenfassung: | What is disclosed is a novel device and method to manage displays (106, 206) in a device (100) with a camera (112, 212). In one example, a first display (106) is on a first side (104) of the wireless device and a second display (206) along with a camera (212) is on the second side (204) of the device. A facial detector (306, FIG. 5, FIG. 6) detects a presence of a human face in an image captured by the camera. A power control circuit (316, FIG. 5, FIG. 6) turns on the first display (106) and/or second display (206) in response to receiving a signal from the facial detector (306, FIG. 5, FIG. 6) that a human face is detected. In a further example, a matching algorithm is (306, 312, FIG. 5, FIG. 6) used to determine if the human face in front of the camera matches a previously stored human face. In response to a match being found, an image associated with the previous stored human face is presented on the second display (206). |
