The system has a structure to be monitored for structural health (172). The system further has a distributed network of nanoparticle ink based piezoelectric sensor assemblies (120) deposited onto the structure (30). Each assembly has a plurality of nanoparticle ink based piezoelectric sensors (110) and a plurality of conductive ink power and communication wire assemblies (140) interconnecting the plurality of sensors (110). The system further has an ink deposition apparatus (142) depositing the distributed network of nanoparticle ink based piezoelectric sensor assemblies (120) onto the structure (30). The system further has an electrical power source (178) providing electrical power to the distributed network (120). The system further has a data communications network (179) retrieving and processing structural health data (174) of the structure (30) via one or more signals from the sensors (110). |
