Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to antibodies against Colony Stimulating Factor-1 Receptor (CSF-1R) (anti-CSF-1R antibody), methods for their production, pharmaceutical compositions containing said antibodies, and uses thereof. CSF-1R contains 5 extracellular domains (ECDs, designated D1-D5), wherein ECD4 mediates CSF-1R dimerization. Mice were immunized with the extracellular domain of CSF-1R to generate monoclonal antibodies, and antibodies were screened for those that bind only within ECD4. The described antibodies can be used to treat cancer, bone loss, or inflammatory diseases, or to treat or prevent metastasis.
