Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is directed to improved microbial antigen vaccines, pharmaceutical compositions, immunogenic compositions and antibodies and their use in the treatment of microbial infections, particularly those of bacterial origin, including Staphylococcal origin. Ideally, the present invention is directed to a recombinant staphylococcal MSCRAMM or MSCRAMM-like proteins, or fragment thereof, with reduced binding to its host ligand, for use in therapy. La présente invention concerne des vaccins améliorés à base d?antigènes microbiens, des compositions pharmaceutiques, des compositions immunogènes et des anticorps et leur utilisation dans le traitement d?infections microbiennes, particulièrement celles d?origine bactérienne, notamment d?origine staphylococcique. Dans l?idéal, la présente invention concerne des protéines staphylococciques MSCRAMM ou de type MSCRAMM recombinées, ou leur fragment, dotées d?une liaison réduite à leur ligand hôte, destinées à être utilisées en traitement.
