Zusammenfassung: | A genetic trait predictor is generated by blending individual molecular estimates with estimates of at least one genetic value derived from quantitative trait measure. The individual molecular estimates may include molecular trait estimates or molecular trait variance. The individual molecular estimates may be determined by applying individual deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) markers, DNA marker panels, specific parameter estimates and specific parameter variance thereof, and a genotype of a test sample. Quantitative trait measure may include estimated breeding data, raw trait data, and breed composition data. The genetic predictor is accurate and stable under a wide range of conditions and relatively immune to errors in parameter estimation. |
