Zusammenfassung:	A method and a headset for controlling a mobile communication device outputting an audio is described. A multi-conductor line connects a multi-pole connector to a speaker of the headset. The multi-conductor line carries the audio from the mobile communication device to the speaker. A multi-button remote control establishes a wireless control channel over a wireless connection between the multi-button remote control and the mobile communication device. The wireless control channel is used for sending a command from the multi-button remote control, the command controlling the outputting of the audio.
