METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSPORTING OBJECTS

The invention relates to a method and a device for the transport of multiple objects (A-1, B-1, C-1, D-1,...), in particular post. At least one object (A-1, B-1, C-1, D-1,...) at a time is transported in multiple transport procedures to a processing facility (Anl-3, Anl-4). For each object (A-1, B-1, C-1 D-1,...), the value which a predetermined feature assumes for this object is measured twice. The first measurement is performed before the particular transport procedure, the further measurement after the transport procedure. For each transport procedure, the transport procedure information (TV-1, TV-2, TV-3, TV-4) is ascertained and stored as to which objects (A-1, B-1, C-1, D-1,...) are transported jointly by said transport procedure and which feature value which of these objects each assumes during the first measurement. For each object (A-1, B-1, C-1, D-1,...) a search is then performed for the transport procedure by which said object was transported. In this case, a search space restriction is performed for at least one transport procedure. Each transport procedure is ascertained by which at least n objects having the n measured feature values were placed jointly in a transport means (Beh-1, Beh-2) and transported in said transport means.
