Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a fluorine-containing polymer containing, as a polymerization unit, 5-100% by weight of a fluoroalkyl alcohol (meth)acrylate derivative represented by the following general formula: CnF2n+1(CH2CF2)a(CF2CF2)b(CH2CH2)cOCOCR=CH2 (wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; n represents an integer of 1-6, preferably an integer of 2-4; a represents an integer of 1-4; b represents an integer of 0-3; and c represents an integer of 1-3). An organic solvent solution or an aqueous dispersion of this fluorine-containing polymer can be effectively used as a surface modifier such as a water repellent oil repellent agent or an oil barrier.
