Pedestrian crossing with presence detector and warning, characterised in that it constitutes an independent and transportable constructive element, e asy to assemble and dismantle, with low maintenance cost, equipped with pres ence detectors, warning devices, power supply system, accumulators and elect ronic devices (circuitry, etc.), which detects pedestrians, vehicles, or bot h, in a crossing zone, and alerts both drivers and pedestrians themselves, o f their respective presence on said crossing, or in the proximity thereto, a nd provides greater road safety, reduces the risk of accidents for pedestria ns due to inclement weather, reduces acoustic contamination and gives greate r versatility to the use of public roads; also has uses in fixed pedestrian crossings in the form of total or partial introduction of the different elem ents constituting the invention or in the form, for example, of total or par tial shelters for fixed crossings incorporating said elements.
