Zusammenfassung:	A process for producing vanadium-rich iron alloys and fused refractory metal oxides is described. The process comprises submitting mining residues or metallurgical wastes to a pyrometallurgical reductive treatment to produce a molten vanadium-rich iron alloy and a fused refractory metal oxide; separating the molten vanadium-rich iron alloy from the fused refractory metal oxide; and recovering the molten vanadium-rich iron alloy and the fused refractory metal oxide.
