A resistance welding or a laser welding with less thermal effect is desira bly used for the welding. Even small-sized, thin-walled pressure vessels can have an increased compressive strength by disposing and fixing the rib plat es therein. Even the pressure vessels used as hydrogen storage alloy vessels can have an excellent strength against the expansion of alloy. Since the ve ssel can be easily manufactured, it can be mass-produced. Since the internal volume of the pressure vessel can be increased by reducing the plate thickn ess of the vessel and optimizing the shape of the ribs, volumetric efficienc y as a hydrogen storage vessel can be increased. |
