An aspect of the invention offers the subscriber the capacity to control one telephone connection from another, and/or from a television, including c all diversion and transferring. This is done for example utilizing correlati on and cross-linking between the various telephone and other devices connect ions. In an embodiment the cross-linking is performed primarily at the infra structure level rather then at the device level, and the subscriber enjoys u nified telephony environment, as well as call control services from one conn ection to another.
