Zusammenfassung:	A device (10) for use in connection with training a dog (40) to retrieve a ball (38) that allows the user (36) to repeatedly launch the ball (38) with a reduced amount of effort while also eliminating the need for the user (36) to physically touch the ball (38). The device (10) includes a ball receiving portion (16) and a handle (20) that extends outwardly therefrom. The handle (20) includes an integrated treat storage compartment (22) and a dispenser (32) configured to deposit treats (30) onto the ball receiving portion (16). The user (36) launches the ball (38) and then dispenses a treat (30) onto the ball receiving portion (16) so that upon returning with the ball (38), the dog (40) can deposit the ball (38) onto the ball receiving portion (16) in exchange for the treat (30).
