Zusammenfassung:	An object of the invention is to provide a method for easily producing granular carboxyl group-containing polymer particles which have a high bulk density and readily swell in water. The invention provides a method for producing a granular carboxyl group-containing polymer particle which comprises producing a carboxyl group-containing polymer particle, preparing an aggregate of the carboxyl group-containing polymer particles by causing the carboxyl group-containing particles to absorb moisture to a moisture content of 5 to 25% by weight and drying the aggregate of the carboxyl group-containing polymer particles and then grinding the dried aggregate. L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire facilement des particules de polymère carboxylé ayant une densité apparente élevée et gonflant facilement dans l'eau. Ledit procédé comprend : une étape consistant à produire les particules de polymère carboxylé ; une étape consistant à humidifier les particules de polymère carboxylé pour leur conférer une teneur en eau allant de 5 à 25 % en poids et ainsi produire des agrégats de particules de polymère carboxylé ; et enfin une étape consistant à sécher et pulvériser les agrégats de particules de polymère carboxylé.
