Zusammenfassung:	A fitting assembly (10) is provided with a first fitting component (14) having a stepped wall surface; and a second fitting component (12) radially spaced from the first fitting component when the fitting assembly is in a finger tight condition prior to pull-up. When the second fitting component is displaced into contact with the stepped wall surface during fitting pull-up, the stepped wall surface assists in separating the first fitting component from the second fitting component upon fitting disassembly. La présente invention se rapporte un ensemble raccord, qui comprend un premier élément de raccord possédant une surface de paroi étagée, et un second élément de raccord, qui est espacé radialement du premier élément de raccord lorsque l'ensemble raccord est à l'état serré à la main avant l'installation du raccord. Lorsque le second élément de raccord est mis en contact avec la surface de paroi étagée lors de l'installation du raccord, ladite surface de paroi étagée facilite la séparation des premier et second éléments de raccord lors du démontage du raccord.
