Zusammenfassung:	[PROBLEMS] A device capable of smoothly, easily and automatically installing a molding on a door panel for an automobile. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A molding installation jig (10) has, between a jig body (11) and an arm (7), a dynamic sensor (12) for detecting force applied from the molding installatio n jig (10) to a molding (M). The jig body (11) has on one side a finger (13) a s a means for holding an end section of the molding (M) while being in contact with it. Also, on one surface of the jig body (11) are arranged, at equal intervals, three suction pads (15) communicating with a vacuum device. Further, on that side surface of the jig body (11) which is orthogonal to th e surface on which the suction pads (15) are installed, there is installed a pair of brackets (16) with a square U-shaped cross section, and each of the brackets (16) rotatably supports a first roller (17), a second roller (18), and a third roller (19) that are used to fit the molding (M) on the door pan el.
