Moreover, The present invention includes a method of sealing a container using a closure having a compressible gasket, wherein the container has a land portion for engaging the compressible gasket. La présente invention a trait à un contenant stérilisable en autoclave en matière thermoplastique pour la réception d'une fermeture comportant un joint d'étanchéité compressible. La présente invention a également trait à un système d'étanchéification pour l'étanchéification de la bague d'un contenant stérilisable en autoclave en matière thermoplastique. Le système d'étanchéification comprend une bague conformé à engager un joint d'étanchéité compressible au sein de la fermeture.
