METHOD FOR PREPARING METHYL 2-DIPHENYLMETHYLSULFINYLACETATE

Method for preparing methyl 2-diphenylmethylsulfinylacetate (MDMSA) comprising the steps of :(i) conversion of benzhydrol into methyldiphenylmethylthio-acetate ; and (ii) conversion of methyldiphenylmethylthioacetate into methyl-2-diphenylmethylsulfinylacetate by oxidation.
