Zusammenfassung:	According to one aspect of the invention, there is provided a system for moving a trailer from an operable position to a raised position, and releasably locking the traile r in the raised position. The system is comprised of a supporting vehicle. A trailer is connected to the supporting vehicle in a manner that restricts movement of the trailer along a first axis that is generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the trailer. Restriction members are able to restrict movement of the trailer along a second axis that is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the trailer. A loading member has a surface area. An actuating member is able to apply a force to the surface area of the loading member. This for ce pivots the trailer about a third axis, generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the trailer, to the raised position where a releasable locking mechanism is engaged to help maintain th e trailer in the raised position.
