Zusammenfassung:	A tool for generating a force downhole, the tool comprising: a body; a longitudinally movable activating member mounted to the body; and a longitudinally movable driven member mounted to the body and operatively associated with the activating member such that on translation of the activating member in one axial direction, the driven member is translated in an opposite axial direction. Outil pour exercer une force au fond d'un trou de forage, l'outil se composant d'un corps, d'un élément de commande se déplaçant sur le plan longitudinal et monté sur le corps, et un élément commandé monté sur le corps et relié de manière fonctionnelle à l'élément de commande, de telle sorte que lorsque l'élément de commande se déplace dans une direction axiale, l'élément commandé se déplace dans la direction axiale opposée.
