Zusammenfassung:	A fabric softener composition is provided by melt mixing a fabric softener component and a carrier component to provide a fabric softener composition exhibiting a melting point greater than 90~C. The weight ratio of the fabric softener component to the carrier component can be between about 1:19 and about 19:1. Methods for manufacturing the fabric softener composition and using the fabric softener composition to soften fabric while drying laundry in a dryer are provided. L'invention concerne une composition d'assouplissant textile, obtenue par mélange, à l'état fondu, d'un composant assouplissant textile et d'un composant véhiculeur, ladite composition présentant un point de fusion supérieur à 90 ·C. Le rapport en poids entre le composant assouplissant textile et le composant véhicule peut être compris entre environ 1:19 et environ 19:1. L'invention concerne également des procédés pour produire ladite composition d'assouplissant textile et pour utiliser cette dernière afin d'assouplir des textiles pendant le séchage du linge dans un sèche-linge.
