Zusammenfassung:A method and system for approximating the spatial position of neural sources of neurophysiological activity in the brain of a test subject is disclosed. The neural activity is recorded by using neurosurgically implante d multi-electrode sensors. The recordings are gathered from a brain region of a test subject. In order to find the spatial location of neuronal sources, electrophysiology data gathered during behavioral tasks are mapped into three-dimensional (3D) space, followed by a clustering technique. The system and method build a unique 3D representation of neuronal source (unit) activity.
