Zusammenfassung:	A removable core (10) for supporting a pre-stretched elastomeric tube in a radially expanded condition has first and second opposite ends and at least one primary line (28) of localized weakening starting at the first end (24) and terminating at the second end (26) of the tube. The core further include s a plurality of substantially parallel secondary lines (32) of localized weakening. Each secondary weakening line (32) extends substantially circumferentially from one side the primary weakening line (28) to a termination point spaced apart from the other side of the primary weakening line. Adjacent secondary weakening lines (32) define a strip. This strip begins at the first end of the tube and substantially continues to the secon d end of the tube.
