Zusammenfassung: | A method of increasing the yield of peas regardless of the weather which comprises well growing pea seedlings until a certain stage, and, at the earl y stage of podding, cutting off lateral leaves and lateral branches unnecessarily absorbing much nutrients so that the nutrients can be utilized exclusively for the growth of the peas. By using this method, pods can ripen earlier and contain well ripe peas even at the upper part. After the germination of sowed pea seeds, the seedlings are grown. When pods are forme d on the lowest branches, branches projecting out from these pods and leaves o n these branches are cut off. Thus nutrients can be utilized intensively for t he ripening of the pod peas. |
