Zusammenfassung:A cork extracting device (10) includes a bifurcated body (11) defining a pair of depending legs (13). Circumferentially spaced ribs (20) project laterally from each leg to define guide surfaces (21) for an extracted cork, the lower ends of the ribs (20) defining two different-sized bottle neck seats (22, 25). An oblong handle (51) with an elastomeric covering (58) is fixed to one end of a worm (55) which extends through a collar (42) in the upper end of the body (11) and downwardly between the legs (13). Flexible and resilient fingers (31) are cut from each leg (13) and respectively carry foil cutters (34), the fingers (31) being manually depressible to engage the cutters (34) with a bottle neck foil for cutting the foil in response to rotation of the body (11) about the bottle neck.
