PROCESS FOR PREPARING A SUBSTITUTED IMIDAZOPYRIDINE COMPOUND

The present invention provides a new process for large-scale preparation of substituted imidazopyridine compound of formula (I) wherein R1 is C1-C6 alko xy or NH2 group, comprising the step of reacting a compound of formula (2) with a 3-halo-2-butanone compound in cyclohexanone.
