Zusammenfassung:	A cheese tower system is adapted for producing precise weight quantities of cheese. In an embodiment of the invention, a column of cheese is formed using a tower. Retail portions of cheese may be cut from the cheese column. The cut portions of cheese may be weighed to determined whether they are within a desired range of weight. If the cheese weights are outside of the range of preferred weights, then the size of subsequent quantities of cheese may be adjusted to change their weights to within acceptable limits.
