What are also described are immunological compositions containing the recombinant poxvirus for inducing an immunological response in a host animal to which the immunological composition is administered. Also described are methods of treating or preventing disease caused by porcine circovirus (2) by administering the immunological compositions of the invention to an animal in need of treatment or susceptible to infection by porcine circovirus (2).
